Michael "Mike" Masnick (born December 8, 1974) is the CEO and founder of Techdirt, a weblog that focuses on technology news and tech-related issues. Additionally, Masnick is founder and CEO of Floor64 and a contributor at BusinessWeek's Business Exchange.

He is also known for coining the term "The Streisand Effect" on the Techdirt blog in January 2005. The Streisand Effect was the subject of an interview on NPR's All Things Considered hosted by Robert Siegel.
