This is a list of British periodicals established in the nineteenth century, excluding daily newspapers. The periodical press flourished in the nineteenth century: the will eventually list over 100,000 titles. Nineteenth-century periodicals have been the focus of extensive indexing efforts, such as that of the , Poole's Index to Periodical Literature (now published electronically as part of ), and .
