Hans Järta


Hans Järta (originally Hans Hierta) (1774–1847) was a Swedish administrator and revolutionary. He helped overthrow Gustavus IV Adolphus in 1809 and was the main drafter of the constitution of Sweden in 1809.

In 1828, he was elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
