In 2009, the Party won a seat in the European Parliament and will be represented by the current party leader, Valdemar Tomaševski. On 22 June 2009, the UK right-wing blog ConservativeHome announced that Tomaszewski had expressed a desire to join the European Conservatives and Reformists group in the European Parliament.
