DirectGroup Bertelsmann is a division of Bertelsmann AG and operates book sales clubs, online shops, bookstore chains and publishers in 16 countries.

Its more than 15 million customers have generated sales of €1.55bn in 2008. The company was formed in July 2000 and is led by CEO Fernando Carro.
